In my last blog entry I was talking about how taking care of yourself doesn’t mean that you neglect yourself. And I gave some suggestions that show you how to take care of yourself. But there is more to it than this. You need to get busy and create the life you want so once you get the balance you need, you can keep it. So how do you do this? I’ve got several great leaders in my life that are also amazing friends. One of them I met from network marketing. That is Dr. Reggie Cochran, who is an amazing business coach as well as an amazing friend to me. Others are Tony and Sarah Zolecki, Rick and Michelle Teague, Renae Green, and Steve Rose. Then I have friends like James Wilson and Anita Clay, who are producers for Traditionz Entertainment. And Esau McKnight who is also an actor/stunt man/martial arts master and the list goes on for Esau. And my friend Brian Fulginiti. Who is the leader of a page I’m part of on Facebook called Motivational Stars, as well as a few other motivational pages I’m on. Send me a private message and I will gladly connect you to him. Plus friends like Calvin Moss, Renea Green, Chad Statham, and Herman White. I am incredibly blessed to have these people in my life. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from all these people is to work hard, but also play hard. Go after your dreams. You deserve it. One of the things I’ve learned is that if you want your life to change, then get up and make it happen. It’s the only way your life will change. It starts with a dream. What is something you have only dreamed of doing? From there you need to decide that your dream can happen. From there you have to decide what needs to happen to make this happen. And then just start doing it. We are all going to get older. So, why not get older doing things that will give you the life you desire?
But what if you think all the cards are stacked against you? Well, in that case, you need to start with working on what you believe. One thing I do every morning is affirmations. I have some on my other blog you can use. You must believe that things can change. There are thousands of stories out there of people who have started with nothing, some even homeless, and within 5 years were multi-million dollar earners. Your life can change, but you must believe it before it can before it will. My life has been tough for over 2 decades now. But I made the decision in 2011 to make it change. And now I am 5 years down that road and my life is taking the form that it needs to take. In future blogs I’m going to be talking more about dreams, but for today, I want to start with the basics. What if you’ve forgotten how to dream? I know how that feels, I did. I had dreams that I had completely forgotten about. I became friends with Reggie and Brian in 2013 and 2014 respectfully. Between the two of these amazing friends I’ve learned how to dream again. How did I start? I started by learning to relax. And then daydreaming. Daydreaming isn’t just child’s play. Really think about what would you do if there were no limits?
- Would you travel?
- Would you live in a nicer home?
- Would you have a better car?
- Would you give more?
- What can you think of?
If you need help, send me a reply. And I would absolutely love to help you. It’s where my heart is. Next week, I’ll elaborate on this topic further. Clean living is about a lot more than what you clean you house and body with, although that is a factor. It’s about keeping your mind clean also so you can go after what you want. Trash in trash out, good things in, good things out. Be blessed.
